Initial Consultation

During your first consultation, your specialist will discuss your
individual needs and suitability for non-surgical and surgical
procedures. Initial consultations take approximately 15-30
minutes. Please feel free to bring any questions you would like
to discuss, and any previous surgery details, pathology or
radiology results you have had done. During your consultation,
your specialist will discuss your procedure including the risks
and benefits and will ensure you have had all of your
questions answered and understand your surgery in detail.

Referral

A current GP referral is required for a consultation, to allow you to
claim a Medicare rebate for the consultation. Our staff can
process this on the day on your behalf.

Medications

Please bring a list of your current medications and their correct
dose.

Insurance Information

Please bring details of your private health insurance or other
liability information (for example, Workcover or TAC).

Fee

There will be an out of pocket fee (ie; after Medicare rebate)
for consultations. We also provide discounts to pensioners and
Health Care Card holders. Out of pocket and gap fees for surgery
will be discussed during your consultation.
